From darts[wedges] to kites in deformation
[Based on the method of folding modified bird bases given by Mr. J. Maekawa in the book:"Origami no kikagaku [Geometry in Origami]" (in Japanese), Nippon-Hyoron-Sha, Tokyo (1979). The expressions, "dart" and "kite" for quadrilateral regions above, come from the names for two types of tiles appeared in the articles on Penrose tiling.]
