「Twisted folding around a triangle #3」 study in math
An application of results in the preceding articles #1 and #2.
The following image with explanations in Japanese shows a diagram of a 'Hira-Ori', (flatly) foldable tiling/tessellation over a 2-dimensional plane [or it can be considered as a foldable structure which is defined on a 2-dimensional flat torus] based on a twisted folding structure around a given triangle, and its folded shape viewed from front/back sides:
