「Basic diagram: like a cruciform Shuriken, as folded...」　　basics

Partial structure of the bird base and a flatly foldable 90°[π/2 (rad)]-twisting structure around a square can be combined and formed into a diagram, which is to be flatly folded into the shape that looks like some cruciform "Shuriken":
